Turkey Piccadillo Notta Pasta Recipe

Piccadillo is a spiced meat dish eaten in many Spanish speaking countries.

Ingredients 1/2-16 oz box Notta Pasta Spaghetti
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1 1/4 lbs ground turkey
1 large onion, finely chopped
3 large cloves garlic, minced
1 large green bell pepper, chopped small
3 teaspoons dried crushed oregano
2 teaspoons paprika
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cracked black pepper
1/4-1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
2-14.5 oz cans diced tomatoes
1/2 cup raisins
3 tablespoons cider vinegar
Directions
1. Put a large pot of salted water on to boil.
2. In a large nonstick skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Brown turkey, onion, garlic and green pepper.
3. Add oregano, paprika, cinnamon, salt, black pepper, cloves and crushed red pepper. Sauté for 1 - 2 minutes until all ingredients are mixed together well.
4. Stir in tomatoes, raisins and vinegar. Mix very well. Simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
5. Just before you are ready to serve, boil Notta Pasta according to directions on box. Drain, rinsing quickly.
6. Serve piccadillo on top of pasta.
